ANN McNULTY FERRARO
voice

Received a Bachelor of Music from Ithaca College, a Master of Music from Western CT State University, and a Degree in Administration from Southern CT State University. Prior to joining the Somers (N.Y.) High School Music Department faculty, she has been a choral director and teacher of voice and music theory at Newtown High School, Joel Barlow High School, and New Canaan High School, all in Connecticut. She is a past Professor of Choral Music and Music Theory at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. Her choirs have performed throughout Europe, most notably in Coventry Cathedral, Yorkminster Cathedral, The Duomo in Florence, and St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, where her choirs sang for Pope John Paul II.


Ms. Ferraro guest conducted the well-known Messiah Sing-In at Avery Fisher Hall for six seasons. In 2001, 2003, 2004, and 2007, she was honored by being selected for inclusion in the publication, “Who’s Who in America’s Teachers.” She has performed throughout New York and Connecticut as a choral artist and soloist, and has toured Europe as a singer as well as a conductor. A soprano, she sings with two professional choirs in Connecticut and has performed many roles in opera, oratorio, and musical theatre.
