Jeanne Hinkson has played piano most of her life. Loving both classical and popular music, she taught privately and at the Yamaha School of Music on Long Island and played in restaurants and country clubs there. Since moving to Heritage Village 10 years ago, she has done a lot of accompanying and some composing. Her first Musical, Simple Pleasures, was produced in the Village in the summer of 2001, and starred Pomperaug High School students as well as Villagers. She formed “Piano Plus One”, a performance duo with different soloists who perform locally.

Ms. Hinkson has been at the Renaissance Center since 1997.
