Friday, October 26, 2007 4:00 Henry Church Fun with Chords for beginning guitar players. Learn how to read chord diagrams and play them on your guitar.
5:00 Henry Church Group Guitar.

Monday, Nov 5, 2007 6:00 Jan Gregory Ensemble in the piano lab for students in levels 2 and 3. We will practice parts that we can play together in duets, trios and quartets. Focus will be on steady playing and good rhythms. Maximum 6
7:30 Jan Gregory African drumming for fun and rhythm. Students will be introduced to African djembe drums and learn how to play rhythms on them.

Tuesday, Nov 6, 2007 4:30 Mark Swigart Elementary woodwind ensemble. For flute, clarinet, sax and oboe players with 2 years of playing experience. Improve your rhythm skills and learn to listen and play together.

Monday, Nov 19, 2007 4:00 Dr. Al Martin Saxophone ensemble - learn to play in a group, focusing on balance, blending, phrasing and expression.

Wednesday, Nov 21, 2006 4:00 Dr. Al Martin Clarinet ensemble - learn to play in a group, focusing on balance, blending, phrasing and expression.

Wednesday, Jan 9, 2008 4:00 Dr. Al Martin Flute ensemble - learn to play in a group, focusing on balance, blending, phrasing and expression.
6:00 Lyn Nagel Vocal Master Class. This is an opportunity for voice students to perform a piece for others in the group. Learn more about performance skills. Especially good for any voice student interested in auditioning for community or school productions. Maximum 10

Friday, Jan 11, 2008 5:00 Seth Uricheck Basic string ensemble for less advanced players. This will be an introduction to ensemble playing. Learning to give and take musical cues, matching pitch and tempo and playing with piano accompaniment will be included with songs from the Suzuki Level 1 book.
6:00 Seth Uricheck String ensemble for more advanced string students. Musical works with multiple parts will be used. Students will focus on comprehension of the individual line as a part of the musical whole in order to play together smoothly.
