1. If you must miss a scheduled lesson, please call at 267-7672. Lessons must be cancelled by 10:00 am to qualify for a rescheduled time. We cannot honor the make-up policy for last minute phone calls.
2. Lessons missed for any reason will be made up with your regular teacher when possible, or with another qualified faulty member. We do not guarantee that every make-up lesson will be with your regular teacher.
3. Make-up lessons should be scheduled as soon as possible after a lesson is missed. Contact the Renaissance Center for scheduling. Please make up the lesson within 30 days. Make-up lessons may not be carried over, credited or refunded. In addition to regularly scheduled make-up days, make-up lessons may be scheduled whenever there is an opening on your own or another qualified teacher’s schedule. We will offer at least 2 times for any make-up lesson. Please do not wait until the end of the semester!
4. The tuition for the first lesson in the family is $595, payable in 5 equal installments of $119 each, due by the 10 th of each month ($15 late fee is assessed on the 11th). Tuition for second lessons in the family is $500, payable is 5 equal installments of $100. Our annual fee for private lessons is $20.00, to cover the costs of scheduling and administration. This will be charged to each student’s account at the beginning of the fall session.
A statement will be handed or mailed to you at the beginning of each month, which will include any materials (books, picks, reeds, etc.) issued to the student during the previous month.
The Center can now accept
credit card payments, using Visa or
Master Card.
5. Our
18-week Fall Semester will again consist of 17 private lessons
and a number of Group Classes in theory, harmony, rhythm, group
piano playing, improvisation, African drumming and small ensemble
playing. All registered students at the Renaissance Center will
be able to attend any of the one-time Group Classes throughout
the semester at no additional charge.
6. The first semester includes a recital for more advanced students of school age and an adult recital. The second semester includes a recital weekend in which all school age students are encouraged to participate.
7. Group sessions will be billed at a separate rate.
