The motto of the Renaissance Center is: “We make great music great fun!” The weekend of March 24 and 25, 2007, demonstrated this when students filled the sanctuary of St. James Lutheran church with music.
Students of the Renaissance Center played a variety of instruments at all levels of ability, to the delight of their audience of families and friends.
The Center held three separate recitals in order to accommodate performances by 67 students, mostly on piano, but also on clarinet, flute, guitar, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, and violin.

These students take private lessons throughout the year, and some have been studying their instrument for many years.
The spring recital is an annual event which gives each student an opportunity to share their talents in a venue beyond the four walls of their practice studio and for an audience other than their teacher or their immediate family.
